Well last night I went out to the Nitro track. However it was not the normal Blackfoot track that I attended. I was invited and provided full access when ever I want to a private track.
So I went there thinking that the track would be so-so, but boy was I surprised! I found that it had a long straight away with nice banked corners at both ends. This flowed into a rhythm section then a corner and a high bank corner. Obviously Jason (the owner/track designer) has put a lot of time into it.
Anyhow, my truck(s) ran awesome. It was really the first time I’ve put the LST1 through the paces. With only a .26 engine in it, it was able to catch the bigger engines on the straight away, However, powering out of the corners it was lacking.. I’m going to look at changing the shift point and maybe changing the diff fluid to make things a little better.
