Well I was just speaking with Wendi and she said that she is taking out a couple of her cubs for cougar lessons this weekend. Apparently they are headed to the dance club to test out their new skirts and shoes. She has been diligently teaching them them the “I’m the one you will be coming home with, no questions asked” stare as featured above.

Game 6 – Post Game

Well last nights game was another close one again. In the final end we were up by one and had last rock.
Our original intention of the end was to keep the house clean. However after the second rock thrown we had to adjust our strategy to a little more defensive. So we closed off a bunch of the lane to the house and left little room to come in. Unfortuntely by this time they had one sitting in the back of the house.
Alexis threw an amazing rock that squeeked past everything and sat right on the button. Their skip tried to take it out and missed so I put up a guard. Their skip hit our guard and we scratched up a win!

This evening we will once again be hitting the ice. However, since we have not played since early December I’m hoping that we are all not too out of practice for tonights game. I’ve check the team that we are playing and I can not immediately place them so it may be that they are a team dropped down from a higher league. I hope not.
Anyhow, this evening we will have our first fan turn out ever. Sean’s parent and my parents have said they will be attending the game on the warm side of the glass. Since we aim to impress, we will all be sporting our new curling jackets. This will hopefully intimidate the other team as well as style and flare to our delivery team.
Time to put your gripper on and hit the ice!
2007 – The year of the Marriage

Well, the holiday season has past so Alexis and I are now back at work. Of course this means that we will again be making semi-regular post on the happenings.
Of the break we had a really nice time. Unfortunately it was too short and we both managed to grab a virus of some sort for a few of the days… Popping vitamins, and liquor cleared up the symptoms enough to continue on during the season.
With Christmas and boxing week sales Alexis was able to acquire a new casual wardrobe, and I some new nitro bodies. I’m currently in the process of painting one of them with a new liquid mask technique. It seems to be turning out pretty good, however I may have pooched it a little with the color scheme. I’ll post photo’s when I’m done it in the next couple of days.
Tomorrow we have curling again and are really lookig forward to it. We are going to have some Fan’s at our game. Both my parents and Sean’s parents will be attending, so we are really counting on our new Team jackets to make us look good. (Well, Sean and I, Alexis and Nora don’t need them to look good)
